All of our products are developed in-house by our chemists to ensure quality and control. This allows us to continuously innovate — whether by creating new formulations for complex oil recovery applications or by enhancing conventional processes in the oil industry.

Industrial Oils
Lucent develops and manufactures process solutions and surface-active products designed for the continuous cleaning and recirculation of process oils used across various manufacturing industries. These solutions help maintain oil quality, extend oil life, and improve overall process efficiency.
Oil Recovery
The Oil Recovery business area focuses on methods and technologies for separating and recovering oils from low-quality or contaminated sources. Our solutions include advanced processes , enabling higher recovery rates, reduced waste, and improved sustainability in oil processing.
Brief History
The year 2000 marked the founding of Systemseparation Sweden AB. Just two years later, in 2002, the company developed an advanced oil purification system in cooperation with the metallurgical giant Sandvik. In 2017, the company entered a new phase when Anders Hofstedt AB acquired Lucent Oil AB, continuing its development and growth within the HEAD Engineering Group. The following year, in 2018, the company adopted its present name, Lucent Chemicals AB, better reflecting its activities and focus.
